When you are looking to add three light fixtures to your existing light poles but need the orientation to be different than the standard 90 degree, this is a great way to get this accomplished. With a female 2-3/8 receptacle on the bottom of the bull horn, it fits perfectly over the standard pole top tenons that are furnished with todays light poles. The tenons on top of the bull horn are also 2-3/8 and will receive the standard style slip fitter on almost all standard light fixtures.
